Soccer KC Referee SMS Privacy Policy

Pickup Soccer Kansas City LLC, operating publicly as Soccer KC, uses text messaging to communicate with referees who have explicitly agreed to receive messages about referee opportunities, assignment confirmations, reminders, schedule updates, cancellations, and related operational matters.

Information we collect

For this program, Soccer KC may maintain a referee’s name, mobile number, active or inactive status, text-messaging consent status and history, referee opportunities and responses, assignments, message-delivery status, and limited operational notes when needed to resolve an exception.

How we use the information

Soccer KC uses this information to offer and coordinate referee assignments, confirm coverage, send reminders and schedule updates, honor opt-out requests, respond to support requests, maintain accurate operational and consent records, and investigate delivery or scheduling problems.

Mobile-information sharing

Soccer KC does not sell mobile information. Soccer KC does not share mobile numbers, text-messaging consent, or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Soccer KC may provide limited information to service providers that help operate the program, such as the text-messaging carrier platform and hosting providers. Those providers receive only the information needed to perform services for Soccer KC. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect participants, the business, or the service.

Choice and control

Participation in the referee text-messaging program is optional. Reply STOP to opt out of future referee-program texts. Reply HELP for assistance or contact info@soccerkc.org. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Retention and protection

Soccer KC limits access to authorized operators and retains operational and consent records only as needed to run the referee program, preserve required history, resolve disputes, and meet legal or provider obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect the information.
